Gamma Motorsports attended the joint event between Autointerests & Gridlife held at Pittsburgh International Race Complex, or Pitt Race on Oct 22, 2022. The day started out with checking helmets in tech, then helping a couple drivers with mechanical concerns, and a vehicle dynamics talk rounded out the morning. The afternoon was a ride along and feedback with an Autointerests intermediate group driver, and helping out in the afternoon car control session. While we were in car control the endurance race for Gridlife’s new Super Grid GP class got underway, with GLTC drivers joining for the first handful of laps for some added seat time. The GLTC cars had left the track by time car control was over, and I went up the timing tower to live stream the majority of the race. The race was kept interesting with watching the different crews handling their pit stops, even with 5 cars left circulating the track. Once the race concluded, we did a pit walk to see some of the other cars around the paddock as well. The stream archive is available on the Gamma Motorsports Instagram!
