Gamma Motorsports has begun offering oil sampling & analysis services. In order to maintain complete transparency, I do not have an oil analysis lab on site. I will be working with 3rd party services in order to accomplish this offering. I won’t charge you anything over what the labs are going to charge you, and my intent is simply to play the middle man in providing you motorsports specific guidance utilizing some of the products offered here at the shop. All final decisions will still be in the hands of the person requesting the analysis. If you would rather have direct contact with the labs, I can point you in the direction of them as well.
There are a couple different avenues with which we can choose to have analyses done, and that will be covered depending on the tests you seek and the intended purpose of the equipment using the oil. Oil sampling does not have to be done during a change. If you’d like to have tests run between changes, I have equipment on hand to draw samples with oil remaining in place in the sump. If you’d like to know more about the composition of an oil’s additive package, we can send off samples for a better look at those as well.
