Chemical Guys
That time of year is upon us again! Chemical Guys has been a fairly popular line, so I did a decent bit of expanding my inventory of it. I still have plenty more planned, but I have a good number of orders stacked up and waiting to be done, so I wasn’t going to be able to roll it all in on this order.
I’ve kinda been kicking myself for a little while now for having some of their detailing products and the drying towels, and not having any basic microfibers here, so I fixed that by getting some of their Workhorse Microfibers. Apparently the yellow just got discontinued though, so the next round of these are going to end up a different color.
For air fresheners, the Vanilla Bean and JDM Squash have been popular, so I got you guys that in the bigger 16oz bottles. They’re 4x the product for a hair under twice the cost of the little bottles I’ve stocked, so if you want a sampler, the small bottles are still good, but if you know you like those scents, you get more for your money with the bigger bottles now.
I had a customer asking for Mat Cleaner. It’s good for cleaning up rubber and vinyl surfaces without leaving a greasy feel behind. These are pedal cover and steering wheel safe. Unless you’re super fancy and have alcantara or something I suppose. The Butter Wax is a good carnuaba, and is the same one you’ll see in a lot of places around town. The Diablo Gel Wheel Cleaner is a concentrate as well. It’s a little cheaper this way. You’re supposed to cut it 3:1 with water to make a spray of it.
Battery Tender
Battery Tender was something I wanted before winter got here, but I suppose late’s better than never. There’s more I want to expand on this line with on a future order. Right now I’ve got the Junior 800 mAh charger and 25′ extension cables in stock. You can still throw the Junior charger on your mower between passes until it’s time to store cars again.
The box may say powersports, but it doesn’t care what you’re hooking it up to, it will still do a good job of maintaining. Just be aware that if your battery’s low and you need to charge it, this one will take in excess of a day, even for a Miata battery. I will be stocking a 1.25A charger on a future order later to help cover that need as well. I can also special order them or we could look at CTEK for beefier needs including desulfation if needed in the meantime.
Seasucker
I also got a couple Seasucker mounts in, one for a phone with a 7″ flex arm, and the other one is a shallow action camera mount, like for a Go Pro. These things aren’t cheap, but if you’re in the market for brands like RAM, I’d suggest giving these a look too. Both of these mounts use huge 4.5″ suction cups (so make sure you have the space where you want to mount it.)
Instead of the usual dance of “push this button down and flip this lever simultaneously,” Seasucker’s vacuum cups actually have you put them on the surface, then manually pump the air out of them with a few presses of a push button pump on the side of the cup, drawing a vacuum for a stronger hold. I thought these things were cool, and they hang on like nobody’s business because of how they’re set up.
Curt & DEI
Curt I brought in some universal U-shape coupler locks, a HD replacement 7 blade trailer side connector if you need a replacement, and 3/8″ safety pins with chain for the coupler lever. 3/8″ is a less common size, but I stock both with and without chain in 1/4″ and 5/16″ if yours gets misplaced.
DEI I got the stainless locking ties in both 8″ and 14″ varieties, and the tool for a 1/4 drive ratchet that helps get them plenty tight. All 3 of those should be similar to what you find in some of the parts stores, but like everything else in there, I can get them to you for a lot better price.
