New Additions for Shop Supplies and NA/NB Spares!

New parts are now listed over on Parts & Inventory! This round of additions is maybe a bit less of the shiny, social media glamor and glitz, and heavier on the “You’re going to need this eventually” side of things, but things I hope you’ll find plenty of use for regardless! Time to get down to business!

A Few More NA/NB Spares

At least in my area, parts stores seem to be woefully lacking on parts on hand for Miatas in general, despite their popularity. This last round of parts helps fill in that inadequacy a bit so we can at least have solutions available to us without having to wait a week. Specifically, you will now find an option for a clutch slave cylinder, some new rear brake hardware, as well as a radiator cap that fits a lot of other applications as well.

General Purpose Items

There’s a much smaller 1/2 pint funnel available now. Also look for metal rear view mirror buttons if you’re unlucky enough to get to battle a fallen rear view mirror. Follow the directions for your glue closely.

Zip ties can be a real savior in “get home” situations. The bag stocked here now is a large one, but will certainly be well suited to being split up so you can stash some in multiple places. Definitely a must for making being in a pinch less painful.

I started stocking a smaller 0.5oz tube of green brake grease on a request also. The green stuff is not well suited to high temperature and should be reserved for standard street use. Track and towing uses will best be served by a different option.

Wiper Blades

For the most part, I do still have inventory of PIAA Si-Tech silicone wiper blades. While they’ve always been great products, finding a good source for them has been difficult. I’ve been out of the 19″ blades for a while. I’m now beginning to slot in Trico Force as maybe not quite on par as a full equivalent, but still a very solid premium wiper blade option in it’s own regard. If you’re more familiar with the Onyx, which was a very reliable line, these are very near the same blade. There are only very minute differences in the connector as far as I can tell.

The Deal With Centric

I did make a note on the inventory page that I’m basically terming my current situation with Centric brake parts a “soft launch.” It’s been here to fulfill a request and turned around back out the door immediately. It’s available, I just don’t have it sitting on my shelf.

Centric Premium rotors tend to be held in pretty high regard in the track Miata community for most stock-ish power level builds. I tracked mine on them as well and they always held up great for me, so I’ve become partial to them. I do need to put in a brake restocking order for their stuff. In the meantime, if you need anything in particular from them, I can generally get parts ordered without problem. Have a look at Contact Us and get in touch to have parts sourced.
