The Gamma Motorsports LLC Stable includes several cars built to compete in different classes. We’ll give you a quick introduction to them here!

Current:
2014 Hyundai Genesis Coupe 2.0T – NASA ST5
This car was acquired in 2022. The team is currently in the process of gathering equipment to operate it. It was campaigned by GenRacer in Pirelli World Challenge and SRO Touring Car America from 2017-2019 in the TC class and was regularly a front runner. We look forward to putting it back to good use where it belongs!

Being Built:
1997 Mazda Miata – Champ Car
This car will be gone over and prepped to be placed in ChampCar Endurance Series. Our intended build for this car is to use a freshened ’99 NB1 engine since we have a few backups around.

Retired:
1999 Mazda Miata – XP SCCA Solo, Autointerests HPDE, NASA PTE
This car was the beginning of the company’s motorsport experience and used to compete in SCCA autocross for a decade in C Stock, Street Touring R, and X Prepared. It was used to compete with South Carolina Region SCCA, Connecticut Autocross and Rally Team, Fairfield County Sports Car Club, Ohio Valley Region SCCA (2015 Prepared class season champion), Buckeye Miata Club, and Southern West Virginia Region SCCA. Our NB1 was used in HPDE events for 2 years with Autointerests and Ohio Valley Region SCCA.
It was being set up to run TTE/PTE with NASA Great Lakes when an issue arose with the engine that necessitated a rebuild. Before that operation was completed, the typical NB1 frame rust surfaced. This had significantly impacted the safety of the car as it was reaching a point of receiving a full cage. The choice was made to seek a new chassis. This car will likely end up being a donor to an Exocet project in the future.
