The 2023 race season is upon us. I’ve been working on expanding Gamma Motorsport’s parts operation to better serve our customers. We’ve brought on two new distributors in the past couple months to have a much better selection of parts.
Behind Door 1…
The first distributor is an industry giant and has hundreds of brands available to it and warehouses and cross docks all over the US. There’s so many brands they carry, that I’m likely not going to be listing them all over on the Inventory Page. This allows us a major expansion of what we can source and have on hand. Some of the products that were once on the Closeout list are now going back into regular carry.
This allows me to also move the parts business in a direction I’ve had in mind for a while. I want Gamma Motorsports to be a one stop shop for everything a racing operation could need. We don’t just have cars, although it’s hard to neglect that’s a significant focus. To build a proper operation though, not only does a race team have to maintain a car, it needs driver gear. It needs a tow rig and a trailer. It needs pit equipment and gear for anyone crewing for the team. It’s an expansive environment we operate in.
We will be able to supply items for a lot more than just your car! I want to draw on our past experience to better prepare you in all aspects.
Behind Door 2…
The second distributor, although smaller in scale, has some seriously cool stuff. I spoke to the owner of Moorehead Speed Works at Mid-Ohio a couple weeks ago, and we’re looking to work cooperatively. MSW campaigns a GP1 E46 in WRL and specializes in BMW prep, including Spec E46.
They have their own line of products to address weak points in these cars they’ve found through their own testing. Just as an example, race cars will always find their own weak points and will literally rip themselves apart at the seams when you start building enough grip. Their subframe reinforcements have even caught the eye of some of the guys at FCPEuro.
You can find a full listing of their in house products Here. I’m more than happy to help supply you with anything you may be able to use from them! We’re not just limited to their in house products though. We’ll be adding Cartek, MSI Racing Products, and Radium to our inventory with their assistance. Brands like Motion Control Suspension, Rays and ITG for starters will be available as well.
… and we’re not done.
I still have a whole road map for adding more sources for the road ahead. Of course we’re always open to suggestions as well. There’s a lot of cool stuff to make the track life easier. We want to have it all here. I’m looking forward to more of these announcements in the future!
